| Core Stability Training |
||||||||||
| Without a strong core, (abdominal and back) other parts of your body work harder while the core becomes weaker(de-conditioned). As the muscles that support the trunk become weaker, they are less able to withstand heavy lifting, or support the spine in its normal position. This eventually leads to poor performance on the field and at the gym. Not to mention putting you at risk of serious injury. Core stability training strengthens the body from the mid-section (trunk)out to the extremities of the body. Targeting smaller muscles that aid in stability is crucial to becoming a better athlete as well as total body strength for any individual who is serious about exercise. |

| Incorporating exercises that target the core and smaller stabilizing muscles can increase total body strength, re-train proprioceptors to respond quicker, leading to increased balance, coordination, and Range of Motion ROM. Which ultimately leads to a lean, defined, strong and powerful mid-section. |
